Week 2.23: Hi, Sugar!

Week 2.23: Hi, Sugar was taken on Superbowl Sunday. I watched the showdown with my roommate and her parents and their new flat screen tv. Way to go Colts and Saints for bringing a good game!

It was blustery and snowy and cold outside. Inside it was warm and cozy and fun! Hi, Sugar is actually a Valentine Fun Dip package emptied out into a bowl. Fun, yummy, lickin' times. You might have to be an American child of the 80's to really appreciate this candy. Still, a person has to love this shot, right?

And, now, to sort of change the subject, I'd like to share some musings on Sugar. Brace yourselves. A poem cometh.

As a side note, one of my favorite shoe brands is Sugar. They have a lot of bizarro designs out there, but when I find one that I love, I love them. Especially when I can find them on killer sale. Yeah. It's the hunter in me.

This week I tried on a pair of Sugar shoes that, thus far, is the greatest "first impression" shoe I've ever tried. Great structure and support. Strong design and presentation. Comfy almost instantly. Decent tread. Fun. A shoe that makes me feel the closest thing to "the 'me' I'm supposed to be" in a really long time. We'll have to see how these Sugars wear...should be interesting.
