Week 37: The Friends I Have has been prompted by thankfulness, contemplation and some pretty amazing experiences as of late... But first let me tell you why I chose this photo for Week 37. Initially I thought I'd do a slideshow with music, and I still like that idea, but it didn't quite fit. Then I thought about naming specific people and telling them what I like about them, but that didn't fit either. What I ended up doing was choosing a photo from a spring garden here in my hometown. I love these irises that are all clustered together and radiant and delicate and gorgeous and still unfurling as they reach upward. I feel that happening in my own soul and I recognize it in the souls of my friends. I am thankful to say, The Friends I Have are the best in the world.
So here are some things about The Friends I Have in no particular order and not directed at one person in particular. It is meant for each and every one of my Brilliant Lovely.

To Sarah G.S.K.:
Yes, you are one of two people who object to the smell of toffee nut lattes. :) But I think it's really funny. And I have plenty of other coffees that I love anyway. So it's not a big deal... I just have to work to remember which friends hate them and not get one right before we meet up or when we're together. ;)
to be considered one of your friends fills my heart with gladness. you show me how to be a real true friend. given the number of friends you have and how close to each one you are to them is amazing. xoxo butterfly.
