Gorgeous heat, sweet moments
How did files get lost?
Yes. I lost files from a wedding I photographed this past weekend. Let your heart sink as mine did... but then sing with joy when you know I have the Wunderkind, Gabe, in my back pocket! Hip, hip, hooray-after a very long and agonizing day...the files of great desire have been restored! Ahh...if only my finals were further along...but, alas, I am only one (very exhausted) person.
And now for posting Numero Dos: The Little Prince
Because I am still a hopeless romantic...
This little guy was discovered outside the Japanese Botanical Gardens here in my hometown. My friend, Sarah K.R., found him and scooped him up for my lens. See her wedding ring? See the baby plant root on his back? I'm willing to bet he was all of one cubic inch total...but perfect. I could see him breathe. I could see him size me up.
I was stunned by something tiny (and now all who know my mad love of macro smile and nod in unison)...so much smaller than me...and yet I know The Little Prince was created to make me smile. How many times do we pass up magnificent, tiny delights?
I challenge us all to find the small things and love them for what they are: amazing.

A small delight is being complemented on Buffy's amazing toenails...and Buffy is my Bulldog. :)
