Week 3.14: Colorado

Week 3.14: Colorado is two photos...because I couldn't choose which one to use...Indeed, Colorado is full of color this time of year! It definitely lives up to its name.

This past week I had the wonderful privilege of photographing a wedding in my hometown and on the road home I drove through this spectacular scenery!

The aspens are still turning, the grasses are fading, I spied traces of lavender wildflowers and sunny yellow faces dusted with snow...and the sky...Oh, the ever changing sky!

(I usually shrink my photos down, but I left these in their original sizes so you can enjoy them larger if you like...and I'd like to mention, the second photo has zero editing on it...)

I'm in awe of this amazing planet I live on! And these shots are just small glimpses into why...

BEAUTIFUL photography Sarah! Awesome scenery too. I hope that you're staying warm up there :) We were down in the Gila National Forest last week for my elk hunt and I have to say that, other than the snow (which I can live without) we both have some spectacular views! It really is an amazing planet and our Lord is SO creative!
Love you sweetie!
