Week 2.46: Yes is a photo of my lovely engagement ring.

I said Yes in front of San Felipe de Neri in the heart of Old Town on a brilliant summer afternoon.

I said Yes to this gorgeous vintage inspired green amethyst and diamond ring being held out to me by a man on one knee professing his love.

I said Yes with a mixture of shock and joy while wistful passerbys stopped to watch and my Love waited for my response.

I said Yes to a tower of a man with bright blue eyes and an even brighter intellect and soul.

I said Yes to late night talks and early morning phone calls and long discussions and evening prayers together before saying goodnight.

I said Yes to a relocation out-of-state and two kids whom I adore and who love me, too.

I said Yes to an autumn wedding date in a small venue with a 10-year-old maid of honor and an 8-year-old best man.

I said Yes after less days than is logical but after my heart knew for sure.

I said Yes to my Last First kiss and an uncertain but bright future with a man who loves me.

I said Yes.
